There is always something to do at Country Manor. From organized off-campus excursions to afternoon tailgating parties, our seniors are busy! This is why Country Manor Foundation is committed to supporting the social health and wellness of our communities by partnering with Senior Housing and Therapeutic Recreation to provide programming guaranteed to enrich lives.
This past year, through the generosity of our donors, the Foundation was given the opportunity to become more involved in Country Manor Campus' social programming with Rendever Virtual Reality
goggles. This state-of-the-art technology allows our residents to travel the globe, explore outer space, and even stroll down memory lane. These experiences are synchronized across headsets, creating an interactive platform for participants. The results have been so awesome, we are calling this social experiment a success!
With your help, we can do so much more! In addition to future funding for VR, the Foundation is raising $35,000 to enhance the quality of life of our communities. The following is a list of proposed projects:
- A portable stage for speakers, musicians, and in-house entertainment, offering a better view for tenants and residents in wheelchairs and scooters
- Complimentary meals and sponsorship of the Summer Concert Series to make it even more affordable for residents and families to enjoy this popular seasonal event
- Theater and Cultural experiences such as reserved tickets and exclusive performances at Pioneer Place, downtown St. Cloud
