Spiritual Care/Chapel

Forward in Faith - Improving Our Worship and Gathering Space

In 2008, Country Manor Foundation was formed to fund renovations to the Country Manor Chapel.

What started as a modest sanctuary has since become one of Country Manor's most popular gathering spaces: hosting five worship services per week (often with 400+ attendees), as well as Bible studies, social activities, funerals, and staff events.

We appreciate your consideration for supporting the Country Manor Chapel through the Foundation, so that we may continue to provide life-enriching experiences to the communities we serve.

Country Manor Chapel Expansion

Our very first project as an organization

In 2008, size constrictions of the Country Manor Chapel became a concern. Driven by the vision of dedicated individuals, the Country Manor Foundation was formed to support fundraising efforts to build a new Chapel that could house its growing congregation.

As an organization guided by Christian Values, we understand the importance of spiritual care and opportunity. We are a non-denominational campus that strives to support, honor and offer ample opportunity for all Christian faiths and beliefs.

From a modest gathering space in the Care Center to a hallmark of the Country Manor campus, the Chapel has grown in size and service. Located at the heart of our Campus, our newly renovated 7,000 square foot Chapel can accommodate 225 chairs and 125 wheelchairs. Our services often see crowds of 400+ attendees.

Our Chapel provides a picturesque atmosphere for worship, reflection and prayer.

At the Heart of our Campus, in the Hearts of our Community...

The expansion provided a 52% increase in space, growing the Chapel from approx. 3,500 to 6,700 square feet. The Chapel can accommodate up to 225 chairs and 125 wheelchairs.

A fabric wrapped, acoustical dividing wall allows the chapel to split into two rooms, allowing for multiple events at one time.

The space now includes a lobby area, serving kitchen and additional seating for social gatherings following church or memorial services.

In addition to the sanctuary space, a specialized training room was added. This space can accommodate up to 35 people for things such as CPR training, orientations, and mandatory in-services.

A private mediation and prayer room is available for intimate gatherings.

A new Spiritual Care office houses resident Chaplains, allowing them to be more easily accessible to residents and worshipers.

Expanded entrances greatly reduce congestion, with a public access on the east side, as well as a remodeled resident entrance.

Two private, enlarged restrooms were added, in close proximity to the Chapel.

Enhanced amenities for those who are visually or hearing impaired include a new sound system with superior acoustics.
